Genre Packs are the latest offering from DIRECTV, which allow you to choose your viewing options based on which genre you watch the most. Whether it's MySports, MyEntertainment, MyNews, or MiEspañol, get the channels you want and the content you love without filler channel overload. No annual contract required and the pricing for Genre Packs start as low as $34.99 per month + tax.Can I add a Premium Add-on subscription like NBA League Pass if I have a Genre Pack?
Yes. Premium Add-ons are available—you can select from: * Max, Cinemax, MGM+, Starz, History Vault, Fox Nation, Lifetime Movie Club, A&E Crime Central, NBA League Pass, Major League Soccer (MLS), Netflix, and Hallmark+. Check out our Premium Add-Ons*Additional monthly charges would apply.
What Genre Packs are available and how much do they cost?
There are four types of Base Packs for DIRECTV Genre Packs —MySports, MyNews, MyEntertainment and MiEspañol.Additional Mini packs are available to add-on to select Base Packs to give you even more of the content you love in the genre you want from $9.99 per month and above including, MySports Extra & MyCinema.
What is the difference between DIRECTV Signature packages and Genre Packs?
DIRECTV Signature Packages each have a variety of different channels included from all genres such as sports, news & entertainment.Genre Packs have only channels specific to that genre.
*Eligible customers only. Must be 18 years of age or older to redeem offer. For existing ESPN+, Disney+ and Hulu subscribers, this is an offer for an additional subscription. This will not replace any existing subscription you may already have. All other accounts must be managed separately. You must remain on an eligible DIRECTV plan to retain your offer. If you cancel your eligible plan or switch to a non-eligible plan, your access to ESPN+ Disney+ and Hulu will end at the end of your eligible plan. One offer per account.
